The STAR Program is part of the central Brooklyn community, and many of our staff live right in the neighborhoods surrounding SUNY Downstate and One Brooklyn Health. We understand trends in health problems and which diseases affect whom most often. We partner with other organizations to develop education and outreach strategies which will reach those most in need, so we can all improve Brooklyn health outcomes.
